About Teremana Tequila Añejo
Siete Bucks Spirits is a spinoff of megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia’s production company Seven Bucks Productions, a company that produces original TV and film content for a global audience. The two co-founders have entered a partnership with Teremana Tequila, a family-run distillery from a small town in Jalisco, Mexico.
The tequila is meticulously crafted using sustainable practices. The agave piñas are roasted in brick ovens, extracting the bright citrus flavors of the agave. After 3 days of roasting, the agave is shredded and the juice left to ferment. The leftover fibers are used as compost for the agave fields. Following the open-air fermentation, the juice is distilled in handmade copper pot stills that were made by a local artisan, resulting in a clean & smooth spirit.
Teremana Tequila Añejo is a premium small-batch tequila handcrafted using 100% Teremana blue Weber agaves. “TERA is meant to represent ‘Terre’ which means of the earth and MANA is our powerful Polynesian spirit that guides us. Spirit of the earth. The goal is to create a tequila that is the best of quality and taste, but done the right way – by hand,” says co-founder Johnson. The Añejo is matured in American whiskey casks for at least a year.
