About Casa Dragones Tequila Blanco
Casa Dragones is crafted from hand-selected blue agave plants grown at 4,000 feet above sea level in the Jalisco highlands. The soil in this region is rich in potassium and silica, extremely ideal for growing agave plants. They distill their spirits multiple times using pure spring water originating from a Volcano, which sits at an elevation of over 9,000 feet. The water travels from the top of the Volcano into the 70-meter deep natural aquifers, where the water gathers essential minerals from the volcano’s rich soil. The water is then put through a propriety process to create a balance of minerals.
They use an advanced column process, to distill their tequila, reducing harsh alcohol notes, whilst removing many natural impurities. This ultra-modern filtration system yields brilliant, platinum hues in their tequilas. Casa Dragones made their debut into the tequila industry with their ultra-premium release, Joven, in 2009. Dragones Blanco is their second release.
Casa Dragones Blanco is a 100% Pure Blue Agave silver un-aged small-batch tequila. This crisp, pure tasting spirit has semi-sweet notes of agave, warmed by hints of pepper and cloves. Named the “Best Blanco Tequila” by Epicurious, this blanco is produced in batches of no more than 400 cases. Like most blancos, this one is made for mixing, but unlike most blancos this one can and should definitely be enjoyed neat.
